Encounter "Error - Server aborted session: Management authorization refused: undefined token" when transfer with APOD or APOD/SOD

Issue:

Users get  "Error - Server aborted session: Management authorization refused: undefined token" when try to transfer files to or from APOD (Aspera Platform On Demand)  or APOD/SOD (Aspera On Demand Console)  as user "Xfer" or "Xfer2"

Solution:

The AMI comes with two pre-configured user accounts, xfer and xfer2.   By default, token authorization is enabled.  You can simply resolve the issue by

1) creating a new user account  or

2) disabling token authorization for xfer or xfer2 (depending on which one you prefer to use.)

To disable token authorization, login to your AMI as admin, go to Console -> Nodes -> edit -> Accounts, edit xfer/xfer2 -> Authorization and change the value of Incoming Transfers and Outgoing Transfers from "token" to "allow".

If you purchase APOD and have no access to Console, you can ssh into the system and modify the aspera.conf file under /opt/aspera/etc.

Under the user tab, find xfer or xfer2

change them to this

and save the file.
