We are pleased to announce the general release of Aspera Orchestrator 2.3.0 for Linux 64-bit available for download today. Orchestrator 2.3.0 is the first version release to utilize native installers within RedHat and CentOS Linux for the quick and easy installation and removal of the software. In addition, the new version is now integrated with the asctl unified command line utility, for simple setup and management.
Major optimizations have been made across the core system engine to improve performance within high concurrency environments, with performance boosts in some cases as much as 10x previous performance.
In addition, a variety of feature enhancements were added to improve usability within large and complex multi-tenant environments. These improvements include:
- Addition of bulk workflow operations
- Group monitor management
- Per workflow partitioning using custom journaling
- Workorder tagging
- Interactive graphing portlets
- Dashboard enhancements
New user security management features have also been added:
- Logging of access attempts
- User signoff logging
- Administratively forced password changes
