Console 1.7.3 Release Notes

 

WHAT’S NEW

This minor release of Console corrects a node connection issue that would intermittently appear as a “SOAP Connection Problem” error under Node Status. For new features and changes introduced with the major release, 1.7.2, please see the release notes for Console 1.7.2.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR UPGRADES

Upgrade your software per standard procedure. No special steps are required.

ISSUES FIXED IN THIS RELEASE

  1. A node connection issue that would intermittently appear as a “SOAP Connection Problem” error under Node Status.

KNOWN ISSUES

  1. No additions since Console 1.7.2.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  1. Windows XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, 7 and 8
  2. Linux (RedHat or Debian) with kernel 2.4 or higher and libc version GLIB 2.3.4 or higher.
  3. (Linux only) Aspera Common Components 1.2.7
  1. If your managed node is running Enterprise (or Connect) Server v3.1.5+, then you can configure Console to poll the Aspera Node API, which allows you to turn on Aspera Sync job reporting.
