A major difficulty in deploying 'Git' at scale can be the time required to clone, push, or pull files from a remote repository. Developers working at long distances from the repo, over internet connections with high latency and packet loss, experience the poor performance of the various TCP-based protocol options in Git - SSH, HTTP or the Native Git Protocol to transfer files.
In this webinar, we will introduce and demonstrate a new native server extension for Git that automatically invokes the Aspera FASP protocol in the data transfer path, allowing remote repository operations such as clone, push, or pull to move data at 10x+ speed by fully utilizing the available bandwidth, independent of network conditions and distance.
