Domain users may be unable to install Drive if they updated their Windows system between August 12, 2014 and October 14, 2014 as part of the Microsoft Security Update KB2918614.
This is due to known issues with this Microsoft update. The update causes the Drive installation to fail with the following error message:
The profile for the user is a temporary profile.
To fix this issue, you can employ one of the following solutions.
Remove the faulty update
1. Go to Control Panel and click Programs. In the Programs and Features section, click View installed updates.
2. Look for KB2918614 and click Uninstall.
Install the update that fixes the faulty one
