Now Available: IBM Aspera Console 3.1.0 for Linux and Windows

We are pleased to announce the general release of IBM Aspera Console 3.1.0.  This major release of Console for Linux 64 and Windows is now available for you to download.  Aspera Console 3.1.0 for Linux 64 requires Aspera Common 1.2.16.  This release contains security updates, fixes, and the following new features. 

New Features:

  • Managed Clusters
    • Add IBM Aspera Transfer Clusters to your Console as managed clusters (must be built with IBM Aspera Enterprise Server 3.7.1+)
    • Monitors transfers running on managed clusters using access key authentication for each node
    • Cluster nodes can have multiple access keys
    • Console reports now support reporting on and filtering reports by cluster node access keys.
  • Managed Nodes
    • Admins are no longer required to provide SSH credentials when adding managed nodes, but must still provide SSH credentials to configure the node through Console
  • System
    • OpenSSL has been upgraded to version 1.0.1j (Linux) 
      Note: Console 3.1.0 for Windows does not include the latest OpenSSL 1.0.1u update, but will come in an update next month
