Tip: Checking if your Node API user/password is working correctly

You can make a request to your server to test whether the Node API and the Node API user you created is working properly.

You can do this by going to the following URL: https://username:password@ip_address:9092/info

Use your Node API username, password and the hostname of your Aspera server.

Alternatively, you can make a CURL request on the command line:

curl -k -i -X GET https://username:password@ip_address:9092/info

If your Node API credentials are correct, and the Node API service is running, you will get back JSON data on your server:
